UNTOLD 2026
UNTOLD returns to Cluj-Napoca from 6 to 9 August 2026 for its eleventh edition, branded UNTOLD ONE. It has run every August since 2015 — the 2020 edition was postponed — and drew more than 470,000 people in 2025, which makes it the largest thing that happens in the city by a wide margin.
Where. The centre of it is Cluj Arena, just west of Central Park on the Someșul Mic, about a fifteen-minute walk from Piața Unirii; stages spill into the park and the streets around it. There are eight in all: Main, Galaxy, Daydreaming, Alchemy, Time, Tram, Retro and Soul Circle.
Getting in. Access to the grounds starts at 16:00 every festival day and a day ticket is valid from 16:00 to 05:00. Both general-admission and VIP wristbands enter from Central Park, at the Hungarian Opera entrance — VIP has its own line, and the on-site ticketing point is at the same gate. You may enter twice a day, no more. Online check-in through your account is free in the first 30 days after purchase and costs 25 euros if you leave it to the gate.
Age rules. Under-7s go free. Over-7s need a ticket, a parental agreement and valid ID. Under-14s must be with a parent or responsible adult at all times; 14–16 need an adult with them plus a declaration of commitment; 16–18 need the declaration but not the adult. Ear defenders are mandatory for children under 3 and advised above that.
Money. The festival is cashless — you top up the wristband, online beforehand or at Credit Points on site, which take cash and Mastercard, Visa or Amex. A top-up lasts the whole festival, not the day.
What you can carry. Bags up to 29 × 21 × 12 cm. No water (there is water at the food courts), no sprays, no pets. Flags are fine but not on a pole. Mirrorless cameras yes, DSLRs no. Lockers sit next to the access point and open 16:00–07:00: 150 lei for all four days or 50 lei for one, plus a 50-lei deposit on the key.
Programme. Stage times go up on untold.com/schedule and in the official app, where you can build your own timetable. Day one opens the Main Stage with Sting.
Stage-by-stage programme: the full day-by-day timetable, with a live "on stage now" marker during the festival, is at cluj-napoca.rules.city/untold.
